Who we are
Solved is a free online utility site operated as a personal project. You can contact us at hello@solved.tools.
What data we collect
We do not require registration. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal details to use any tool on this site.
- Tool inputs. Anything you type into a calculator, converter, or generator is processed in your browser. It is not sent to our servers and it is not stored by us.
- AI-powered tools. Some tools (such as the paraphraser, translator, grammar checker, and Ask AI) send the text you enter to a third-party AI service, Groq, to generate a result. The text is transmitted from your browser through our server to Groq and is processed by them to produce the answer. We do not store it. Groq's privacy policy applies to that processing.
- IP lookup. The IP Checker tool queries a third-party service, ipapi.co, to display information about an IP address. When you use that tool, your request (including the IP address being checked) is handled by ipapi.co.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard server data including IP addresses, browser type, referring pages, and pages visited. This data is used for security and performance monitoring and is not linked to you personally.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-0CJTPL14NE) to understand aggregate traffic patterns: which tools are popular, how long people stay, and where traffic comes from. Google Analytics uses cookies and reports aggregated, anonymous statistics. It does not identify you personally.
Advertising
The site carries no advertising at present, and we do not serve ads to your browser. If we introduce advertising, we will update this policy first, name the provider, and describe the cookies it sets before any advertisement runs.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics (via Google Analytics). A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. Our cookie policy at /cookies explains which cookies we use, why, and how to control them.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

The site uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy, and their policies apply to the data they process:

- Frankfurter.app (live currency exchange rates)
Data retention
We do not store any user-entered data. All calculations happen locally in your browser. Nothing you type into our tools is saved on our servers. Server logs are retained by Vercel in line with their retention policy, and analytics data is retained by Google in line with its policies.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because we do not collect or store personal data, there is generally nothing to access, correct, or delete. You can opt out of analytics tracking using the link above. For any privacy concerns, email us at hello@solved.tools.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
