Who we are

Solved is a free online utility site operated as a personal project. You can contact us at hello@solved.tools.

What data we collect

We do not require registration. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal details to use any tool on this site.

Tool inputs. Anything you type into a calculator, converter, or generator is processed in your browser. It is not sent to our servers and it is not stored by us.
AI-powered tools. Some tools (such as the paraphraser, translator, grammar checker, and Ask AI) send the text you enter to a third-party AI service, Groq, to generate a result. The text is transmitted from your browser through our server to Groq and is processed by them to produce the answer. We do not store it. Groq's privacy policy applies to that processing.
IP lookup. The IP Checker tool queries a third-party service, ipapi.co, to display information about an IP address. When you use that tool, your request (including the IP address being checked) is handled by ipapi.co.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard server data including IP addresses, browser type, referring pages, and pages visited. This data is used for security and performance monitoring and is not linked to you personally.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-0CJTPL14NE) to understand aggregate traffic patterns: which tools are popular, how long people stay, and where traffic comes from. Google Analytics uses cookies and reports aggregated, anonymous statistics. It does not identify you personally.

Advertising and Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service that uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits (including DoubleClick cookies for personalised ads). When you visit this site, Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Data retention

We do not store any user-entered data. All calculations happen locally in your browser. Nothing you type into our tools is saved on our servers. Server logs are retained by Vercel in line with their retention policy, and analytics data is retained by Google in line with its policies.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights
